End users have the last years inquired pipes and fittings made from raised crack resistance polyethylene due to their good properties.

As the new EN-standards for polyethylene pressure pipes for water, EN 12201-series and for gaseous fuels, EN 1555-series also comprises verification of RC-characteristics for compound, pipes and fittings, INSTA-CERT can offer an additional approval mark regarding RC-fulfilment.

Type tests are made on the products, and an application shall be sent to your Certification Body.

When the new certificate is issued, the manufacturer can add [PE100-RC NPM] together with the Nordic Poly Mark on the product to show that is verified.

This additional approval will also be reflected on the INSTA-CERT webpage, www.insta-cert.net
